We are Christy and Jan! Two friends who share a passion for gardening and developed an affinity for dahlias during the pandemic.  While we come from wildly different backgrounds - Christy born, raised in Germany and Jan in Alabama- we have found ourselves deeply rooted in the same passion: dahlias!  

Christy spends her working days as a Nurse Practitioner helping women navigate the various phases of their life, while Jan is a Clinical Counselor at a high school helping teens traverse their way through the terrain of adolescence.  As we are both in the second half of our 40’s, we are finding it both grounding and uplifting to devote a bit of our time and energy to the life cycle of a dahlia: from dormancy to life.  Repeat.
